Cheesemaking Factory

Tillamook Creamery, Tillamook, Oregon

In 2009 Tillamook Creamery, a farmer owned co-op celebrated 100 years in the dairy business. The rainy climate of the Tillamook Valley, keeps grass green and perfect for raising dairy cows. In the old days, milk and butter would be taken by boat to Portland, getting it there faster than traveling through the mountains. The result was a fresh product delivered to the customer. Today, the farmer-owners, live up to this same high standard.
