Savannah Georgia Historic Area
You will notice the arched doorways along the cobblestone road from the top of the bluff down to River Street. Attracting curiosity with the look of a blackhole, the history panels provide an informative look at what’s inside.
Architect Charles B. Clunky emigrated from Ireland in 1827, and trained with an architectural firm in New York. After two years he moved to Savannah, and he worked on some of the most notable buildings in Georgia.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are enjoying the sites of Coastal Georgia and South Carolina 🙂
