Hello March

The first week of March arrived with all signs of spring in Coastal Georgia and South Carolina.

The heavy downpours pushed the Savannah River to above flood stage.

And once the storms move out and sunshine returns, a beautiful heron enjoys the warmth of the rays.

As the winter begins to pass anxious beachgoers grab the chance to soothe their senses with the touch of a breeze carrying salt air. Still a bit chilly to put your toes in the water.

With vaccination centers in full swing, and the Covid-19 cases declining the tourists are coming back. Mask mandates are being removed but many folks are wearing them and still practicing social distancing. That is good to see because we surely do not want to go back to where we were a year ago.

I hope you all have a great week ahead 🙂

  1. I’m glad to hear that masks are still being worn. Unfortunately that’s not happening in parts of Florida with Spring Break just starting.

  2. Beautiful photos, Alice. I really like the heron photo. Thank you for linking with #WeekendCoffeeShare. if you enter the link of your blog in my InLinkz, it will be easier for other Coffee Share bloggers to see your blog and vice versa. Have a wonderful coming week!
