The Sugar Shack-Tybee Island, Georgia

The Sugar Shack began as a walk up ice cream stand more than 50 years ago on the island. Today it remains as an island staple that offers traditional ice cream flavors, also some irresistible new flavors. Candy, milk shakes, coffee, tea, and desserts are also on the menu. There have been changes since its humble beginnings, but the old time charm has remained and it’s always delicious. The sweet shop is open year round. Still, it’s best to check the website, because the hours change with the seasons.
