The Scottish Rite Temple building on Bull St. next to Madison Square is one of the most beautiful pieces of architecture in Savannah. The landmark building was designed by Hyman Whitcover in 1913. It is very ornate and designed with Masonic symbolism. The building is seven stories tall and is richly decorated.

The building today is owned by the Savannah College of Art and Design.
