Visitors to Atlanta can tour the World of Coca Cola museum, locate next to Centennial Park. You can choose to tour at your own pace or stay with a group through the exhibits. The museum displays many of the advertisements we all recognize. The company was founded in 1886 when the first glass was poured at Jacob’s pharmacy in Atlanta. The refreshing drink sold for 5 cents a glass, By the 1920’s a global network was building. During World War II, Coca Cola President Robert Woodruff believed a coke should be available to every serviceman and woman.

In 1892 wall advertisements featured a red background with white letters. The colors stay today and when logos are printed on merchandise it is known as “Coke red“.

The self guided tour included the Coca Cola theater, presenting a 6 minute film called “The Moments of Happiness”. It also has the tasting room, where visitors can sample many flavors. Also the laboratory gives a look into the production of flavors.
Tickets can be purchased ahead of time, and is widely recommended during busy seasons.
