Interesting share! Looks like a very big ginseng root! I hope someone shares how to cook this. Happy New Year Alice!
I thought at first that it was some kind of strange sea monster/octopus!
I have actually made three dishes with it in the past two weeks!!! Annette gave me two of the recipe. I made this last Monday, weirdly on the same day she published a post sharing her dish:

I also made a pie with sweet potato, leeks and celeriac and other lovely ingredients. I had leftover leeks and celeriac, so tonight I made a soup with leeks, celeriac and sweetcorn and it tastes really yummy. Annette sends me lots of vegetarian recipes and most of them are from the Waitrose website.
