The church burial grounds honor unknown soldiers who died here.

This bell replaces the melted church bell made into cannonballs by General William T. Sherman’s troops.

  1. The simplicity of the doors is beautiful, but there is nothing simple about the history here. It seems like a place to sit and think. I very much like the close-up of the ceramic knob.
