Coastal Carolina and Georgia offer a seafood delicacy that is easy to find in the tidal creeks and close to shore. Softshell crabs are sweet and restaurants may not always have them since they are seasonal.

For those that catch their own, it may be a costly dinner if you don’t comply with the states size requirement.
