A lovely old house – I would never have guessed it was from New York though. “Laced molding” sounds a more beautiful name than the Swedish name “snickarglädje” (carpenters’ joy) on our old houses. In England and northern Europe they are even more common. not to speak of the Baltic countries and old Russia. Thank you for posting from this lovely angle of your country.
