On the Atlantic Coast of Florida Ormond Beach is just north of Daytona. With a good dose of Florida sunshine in your pocket, it is easy enough to take the five-mile beach walk between the two. Or you may just decide to drive on the hard packed sand with an orange tint from the pieces of coquina shells.
