Sweet and Tart

One of my Grandmother’s baking tips


I don’t use a recipe for baking apple pie, but my Grandmother taught me to use a mix of apples and it won’t be really sweet.

I keep it very simple:

  • Apples, enough to fill the shell
  •  cinnamon to taste
  • sugar
  • flour
  • butter
  • pinch of salt
  • I also use Crisco, flour and a dash of salt for the crust

Easy to make
