Lots of creepy stuff in the neighborhood
There was a time when my children were “trick and treaters”, and we went all out for Halloween. I would make our home scary looking and have a frighteningly good time as they begged they neighbors for candy.
Here are a few tricks of mine you can use to greet those little goblins:
- Use strobe light in the front room of your house, and turn all other lights out.
- If you have a ceiling fan, use Kleenex to make small ghosts and hang them on a string from the fan blades, as it turns and the light hits them, the reflection on the walls looks like flying ghosts
- Have loud music of screams, glass breaking, and other frightening sounds, blasting from the front room
- Dress for the part to hand out the candy
Boo!
