City Hall-Savannah Georgia

Savannah City Hall was built in 1905. The dome reaches 70 feet in the air, has a clock tower, and displays the American Flag.  The dome’s original finish was copper. It was gilded in 1987.  Thin sheets of 23 karats gold leaf were applied.
