Beaufort South Carolina Waterfront
Located between Charleston South Carolina and Savannah Georgia you can visit Beaufort South Carolina a historic gem. A waterfront park overlooks the Beaufort River and Woods Memorial Bridge. The bridge takes you to the sea islands going out to the Atlantic Ocean. Arriving early on Saturday morning to get a head start on the expected rain, I decided to get on the bridge first to take photos.

And best of all, if you leave the park you can walk one block to see beautiful true southern homes with front wide porches and elegant entrances. Here is a peak and I’ll get more together for you on a future post.
Just about the time, I finished lunch shrimp and grits a local favorite, it was time to get back to the car.
