The green earth has always graced us with an abundance of useful and nourishing resources, and our ancestors went straight to them for a variety of uses.   Long before our time and the ease of running to a superstore, generations of people were well cared for by Mother nature.

Salt Marsh…Coastal Carolina and Georgia

It’s not  unusual to hear travelers passing through South Carolina and Georgia comment on the outdoor smell.  Some make a quick assumption that it is industry when in fact it is from a very natural resource the salt marsh.   Natural wildlife inhabited areas are open to walk through on trails and you will have a “spa like” feeling after a short period of time from the quiet peaceful environment.   So hop off the I95 when your nose starts to itch in the low country and pamper yourself to a free retreat.
