The Palm That Dates Back To The Times Of Dinosaurs

The Sago Palm

A slow growing palm that can take up to fifty years to reach ten feet tall. Although it closes resembles a tree it is actually an ancient type of plant called a cycad.

A lush sabal palm plant growing beside a brick wall, with a sign nearby identifying the species, and a walkway leading into a garden area.
