The Purple Store-Seattle, Washington
The Purple Store started in 2004. Everything for sale in the store is purple. Clothing, hats, toys, gummy bears, souvenirs, and just about anything else you can think of in a general store is available in purple.
For visitors to Seattle the store also offers a luggage storage service for the downtown area. No reservation is needed. For more information click here.
The color purple has been associated with royalty since ancient times. The extreme cost of purple wool attributed to this.

It looks like fun. I’ll have to check it out sometime. For those unfamiliar with Seattle: Purple and gold are the Husky’s (UW) colors. So purple is not as random a color theme for souvenirs and so forth as it might seem.
