A Historic Overview of Georgia’s Bank

The Glennville Bank-Tattnal County,Georgia

Glennville was incorporated in 1895, and is located along US 301 a highly traveled route spanning 1099 miles from Florida to Delaware. By the late 1800’s the town had a post office, church, barber shop, a club store and a school. In 1904 a group of citizens sought the need to have a local bank.

  1. Fantastic mural Alice. From afar you could almost think they were real people. I like the man with the dog on the corner. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals.
