A Piece of a moon rock

The piece of moon rock was collected by Astronaut David Scott on the Apollo 15 mission. The rock is a lunar basalt and is on loan from NASA for public display.

The Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum is located in McMinnville, Oregon 1 hour south west of Portland.
