Savannah-Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens
The historic bamboo farm is a popular Savannah attraction. The venue is home to the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens, and a host location for special events.

Conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown Savannah, the Gardens draw more than 100,000 visitors a year.
A variety of flowers and bamboo can be found at the site. Birds, butterflies, trees, shrubs, and plants from all over the world are also available. As a local patron I like to visit at different times of the year as nature shows off its ever changing colors.

Here is a snap shot of the fifty-one beautiful acres to explore.

The historic bamboo collections features more than seventy species:

You can’t visit Savannah and not see a Southern Magnolia

Take a moment to smell the mint 🙂

The ponds feature water plants and trees:

And the sun garden is full of those golden colors:

Absolutely wonderful, Alice! Thanks so much. The crape myrtles look like they’d be beautiful in Fall. Bamboo is regarded as a pest here, because it grows out of control in the wild, so it’s good to see it ‘tamed’ xx
Fabulous gardens – thanks for the tour.
How lovely! I’m a Georgia native (still live here) and have traveled to Savannah several times. I will definitely add this to a future trip. Thanks for the tour. 😉📷
