Some of you remember the daily inspirational offered on television and radio broadcasts around the world. Dr. Michael Guido was an evangelist living in South Georgia. He launched his ministry “A seed for the garden of your heart.” Later, “A seed from the sower” daily devotionals quickly gained a growing audience. Seeds from the sower one minute segments aired for over 50 years.

South Georgia offers mild temperatures year round. However, even the prettiest of places take a rest. This rest is to prepare for the awakening of spring flowers.

The gardens are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There are 3 acres of tranquil walkways lined with statues, dedications and inspiration.

The Guido Gardens is located at 600 N. Lewis Street Metter, Georgia. Travelers on Interstate 16 can use exit 104. The gardens are 2 miles from the exit.

Metter, Georgia is one hour west of Savannah.
