Snow capped Mt. Hood in the distance-sunlight gleaming down upon the Sanctuary of Our Sorrowful Mother. Located at the Grotto in Northeast Portland. The Grotto is a Roman Catholic Ministry of the Order of Friar Servants of Mary. Founded in 1924 it is a 62 acre sanctuary, where the human spirit can seek peace and consolation.
