During long road trips to unfamiliar locations, the Visitors Centers are a great source of useful information. You never know when you will find a new attraction that becomes a “must see”.
Take a break every few hours during a long trip. This provides an opportunity to view the landscape. You can also have a snack. Most importantly, it enables you to use the restroom!
