It is the season of colds and flu, and the local pharmacy offers protection. The senior flu shot is designed to give older folks a better immune response. I opted in for the regular dose, and hope my reasonably good health does the rest.
The 2024-2025 COVID vaccine is also available. It’s a treatment to prevent severe illness from the virus. Many folks take both vaccines on the same day, and just hope for the best managing side effects,

I carried on pretty much normally since Covid arrived. I never took tests or had vaccines. Bizarrely in the era of a super spreading virus I never had anything worse than a cold – the world works in mysterious ways.
