The iconic Atlas clock at the entrance of Tiffany’s. The clock features roman numerals and is held on the shoulders of a Greek Titan God known as the “bearer of the heavens”. The Artist of the nine foot sculpture is Henry Frederick Metzler. The one shown here is a replica of the original.
The symbol above the entrance is recognized world wide, The one in New York was installed in 1853 and is one of the city’s first public timekeeper.
