Pacific Ocean And Coastal Fog

Frequent fog and low clouds on the coast in the Pacific Northwest is a frequent occurrence. the ocean temperature in the summer is chilly, averaging about 58°. Swimming without a wetsuit can actually be dangerous as a result of cold shock. When the cold water connects with the warm summer air, a coastal fog appears.
