Nordic Northwest-Portland, Oregon

Nordic Northwest is non-profit organization focused on preserving Nordic culture in the Pacific Northwest. The grounds are easy to get around and best of all it’s free! It expresses the simplicity of a Scandinavian theme, with a welcoming message.

Located along the gravel path, is a 19 foot tall giant troll. The mythical character was created by Danish artist Thomas Rambo. It is one of six trolls situated in the Pacific Northwest and one of hundreds from around the world. Named Ole Bolle the sculpture is made completely out of recycled materials.
