Tillamook, Oregon
One of my favorite travel tips is to “eat where the locals eat”.
Touring the small cities in America are never disappointing offering the historic significance of an area, as well as the personality of the community.

The Dutch Mill Diner in the historic area of Tillamook, Oregon caught my eye because of the nostalgic look. The old fashioned soda counter and the booth seating reminded me of the neighborhood diners from my childhood.

The menu offered an American cuisine with burgers, fries and homemade chili among the selections.

Although, the prices have increased from the old menu, we found it better priced than the modern day lunch spots.
And the cool nostalgic decorations and music from the sixties, was the cherry on top of the sundae.

Oh it looks like a fabulous place to visit!
All this and Betty Boop too!
