Forsyth Park, Savannah Georgia
The fountain was erected in 1858 on the north side of the park. Savannah starts the celebration of St. Patrick’s Day with the greening of the fountain.
Savannah Georgia is a year round visitors destination. Hot in the summer and warm in the winter.
Saint Patrick’s day is the largest celebration of the year drawing an estimated crowd of over 300,000.
