This past weekend was a family “girls” weekend. Once a year, we choose a show to see at the Beautiful Fox Theater in Atlanta.

The drive is four hours from Savannah, but I plan for five. There is always a bad time to drive Interstate 75 because it passes by Hartfield-Jackson International Airport, the busiest airport in the world. The highway runs north and south through Georgia and is a direct route from many other states to get into Florida.

Like all major cities, there is always something new to see.

Since my granddaughters had never been to a Hardrock Cafe, we decided to take them there.

The musical we selected was “Wicked.” And I never knew that the Wicked Witch of the West was named Elphaba. It was an excellent production, and it gets the thumbs up from me.

As many times I have visited Atlanta, there is much more for me to see. One day, I’ll drive up there without an agenda and be a curious tourist.
Here are a few suggestions if you plan to visit soon:
Hartsfield Jackson serves Atlanta from 21 Airlines and flies to 222 destinations.
The MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) can be accessed at the airport.
Uber is so quick and easy to use.
My favorite area to stay is in “Midtown.”
Atlanta is home to CNN, and Coca Cola and both have tours.
Have a nice day, and thanks for stopping by 🙂

Thank you for the tour.
