Homesite of Cyrus Garvin built in 1870. Located on the Bluff of the May River, on the site of a previous home destroyed during the Civil War.

The home sits on the bluff of the May River in South Carolina. The beautiful view had to lessen the burden of the intense farming operation performed by the Garvin family.

  1. I do like that simple wooden door. The view from the bluff is wonderful. I understand that the family might not have had a lot of time to enjoy it, but still, it’s remarkable. Thanks for the information and the photos.
