The Old Sheldon Church formerly known as the Prince William Parish Church was built in the 1750’s. One of the first churches in to be built in the style of a greek temple with four columns at the entrance and columns around the sides.

The Church and grounds are faithfully cared for by St. Helena’s Church in Beaufort who owns the property.

The Old Sheldon Church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Travelers on Interstate 95 can use exit 33 to visit the site.
