Fish Haul at the Historic Bay Gall on Hilton Head Island
One of my favorite places to walk on Hilton Head Island is the secluded beach area of Fish Haul. Whether it’s high or low tide the beach is full of sea life and sea shells.
With Hilton Head Island being a top tourist destination in South Carolina this beach is tucked away on the north end of the island away from the popular resort areas.
The beach is on Port Royal Sound and not on the Atlantic Ocean and is not really good for swimming. Beach chairs and umbrellas are not filling up the space so it’s perfect for walking, seashell hunts and observing wildlife.

I have walked all year round and have never found a nest, I guess they are hiding under the sand.

So on the dunes and on the shore I am always mindful of where I step.

The park also has a boardwalk to observe the marshlands.

Not only is the scenery beautiful but so are the sounds.
Thank you for dropping by 🙂
I hope you are enjoying the sites and sounds of Coastal Georgia and South Carolina.
