Volunteer workdays keep the paths clear making it easy to find your way through the woods. The park also has direction signs for guidance.

Interpretive panels are placed throughout the park. The information describes the nature of the land and habitants of the area.

The visit this past week did not get me a glimpse of “Big Al”, but I was lucky enough to get a glimpse of this yellow belly slider.

The trails are easy for walking, and dogs are allowed. There are bench’s around the pond, parking at the entrance, and no restrooms.

There is not an entrance fee but donations are accepted.
