North Carolina Interstate Rest Area
After a bit of research, I learned that it is common to have a height chart on doors in public places and businesses.

My first thought when I noticed this was to show the clearance but come to find out they are used to deter crime. The charts give witnesses and security cameras an accurate height description of the person committing a crime.

Very interesting and commonly used by convenience stores.
Thanks for dropping by π

IT’s too bad they do’nt have that everywhere
Also in banks, only maybe not as bold.
We have them some places here too. I like to stand next to them to make sure I’m not shrinking as I get older:-)
That’s interesting. But what a useful public convenience. I can measure the height of my dog every day!
