Riverside-Buffalo New York
Throughout history, the City of Buffalo has welcomed immigrants and refugees into the community. This warm tradition continues today. Many of the old neighborhood churches reopen closed doors of the past and embrace new praise and culture.

“n Buffalo, the Debre Selam Medhane Alem Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church is attended by both Ethiopians and Eritreans“. Noted in the Partnership for Public Good.

The Church was built in 1927 by Architect Alexander H. Bellamy, as the West Side Hungarian Reformed Church.
Beautiful church. It looks like a Hungarian design.
That cupola is really neat. Fine old structure. Thank you!
