Lewiston New York
Opened in 1824 as a hotel in the village of Lewiston. It has hosted many prominent figures, including President William McKinley, Mark Twain, and Charles Dickens. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

I chuckled at the part on the banner proclaiming it “the best hotel west of the Hudson.”
It’s a beautiful building and a lovely door. I’m glad it’s being maintained. That’s a great piece of history.
