July 4th Display-Pembroke Georgia
The American Legion Post 164, the Pembroke Flag committee, and the Pembroke Fire Department grace the downtown of this historic railroad town by honoring local Veterans.
The community gets together to show gratitude and teach the history of the past.
Pembroke came to be in 1889 when the timber business was thriving and the Savannah and Western Railroad extended its line.

Happy July 4th!
Thanks for stopping by 🙂

Alice, what a great flag display for this week. The mural is cool too. 😀
I added this to Marsha’s post…. https://alwayswrite.blog/2021/07/02/ppac-3-prescott-petroglyphs/
What a perfect display for the Fourth and for PPAC. Pembroke is such a beautiful town, so neat and clean. I love the train and the Veteran’s display. Thanks for joining in with PPAC.
