That best describes me during the past fourteen months of the pandemic. Today is a big day since I will be stepping into the salon for the first time since Covid set in upon us.
The transition from short brown hair to a mishmash of colors is telling me it’s time to do something.
With the high temperatures a high humidity of the Southeast US, I have found it best to keep it short and easy to work with.

Looking back to last July it was longer than I liked but I hung in there hiding the gray the best I could on my own.

Fast forward ten months, and I am now sporting the “chicken look.” My hair is very long, and the ends are dark, but I have it tied back with a scrunchie in this photo.
Gorgeous on the chicken but not so much for me π
To all of you beginning to go back to normal life, I wish for you to have a “happy haircut day” very soon. π

I’m in the same boat as you. I haven’t dyed my hair in over a year and my last haircut was in August. For the longest time I didn’t mind the colour. It was like a white blonde in the front but the back is darker but now it just looks greyer all over, depending on the light. Can’t wait for my first hair appointment. Hopefully things will open up in June.
Can’t wait to see your new doo.
