Palmetto Theater a cinema treasure

The Palmetto theater was built in 1946, and has been in continuous use as a movie theater and live performance stage. It was listed on National Register in 2012.
The theater was built to seat 450 people including an upper balcony. The upholstered cushioned chairs have a red, white, and blue theme. It is located on Lee Avenue in Hampton South Carolina historic area.
