Woods Memorial Bridge-Beaufort South Carolina
In the movie Forrest Gump the bridge has a sign that says Mississippi. Most of the movie was filmed in coastal South Carolina and Savannah. This bridge is a landmark in Beaufort County and is one of the few remaining swing bridges in use.
I feel like running for no particular reason more than ever these days! I loved FG movie, and that part always made me wonder how the change of clothing happened, he never carried a back pack…!
