The Place Elvis Called Home

Graceland Mansion-Memphis Tennessee

A recent visit to Memphis would not have been complete without spending an afternoon at Graceland. The home Elvis Presley lived in from 1957 until his death in 1977. Owned today by his daughter Lisa Marie who has left the home just as it was decorated by her father back in the day. I apologize for the poor quality of some of the photos but it was difficult with the lighting. I hope you enjoy and these take you back to a time of good old fashion rock and roll.

A message to Elvis:

Friends, I have to say this is one of the favorite of tours I have ever taken. It was so touching and really said a lot about the person and the family behind Elvis’s great success.

The upper floor of the home is not open to the public. The meditation garden and burial area of the Presley family is on the grounds and open to the visitors.
