Engine 15 left service in the 1970’s.

Precinct 13 closed in 1954 and the building is in use today as a training and storage facility.  In 1901 the station housed Leon Frank Czolgosz who assassinated President William McKinley at the Pan American Exhibition Fair Grounds in Buffalo New York.

The Black Rock Community in the city of Buffalo was a village itself dating back to the 1820’s.  Visitors to the area will find the community rich in history with many historical markers telling the story.
