Somedays it’s fun just to take a walk through a small community with a delicious Italian Restaurant. Grandson and I walked from our hotel near the Munich Airport to a nearby town to grab some lunch at a restaurant that came highly recommended by the desk clerk. The Il Casele offered a modestly priced menu with a nice selection of Italian dishes and pizza.
After lunch which I ate every bit of, a walk through the town was just what I needed. Nothing fancy, a simple lifestyle that says welcome to anyone passing through.
The Maypole is still up and the details tell the story of the town
The business area is on a mainroad that the Munich airport hotels are located along. Shuttle buses and a community bus stop are conveniently located here.
That’s it for me today, I’m resting up for a long 10 hour flight back to Coastal Georgia/South Carolina.
