Central Park, New York City
1959 Alice in Wonderland bronze statue gifted to the children of New York City by philanthropist George Delacorte as a tribute to his wife. Created by Spanish-born American sculptor José de Creeft
A favorite of children who visit the park. Fun climbing on the sculpture has caused areas of the surface to be polished smooth through the years.
Great sculpture. It looks like they are having a great time.
I would like to see it without the climbers but it’s more popular than the playground
