Taking advantage of a sunny day in late November my grand-daughter and I took the train to the city of Bayreuth to shop for LOL’s. Â It’s a new toy craze for those who have not heard of them. With the restoration of buildings in the city squares and a modern shopping mall, we were quite confident our hunt would be successful. Â After exiting the train we walked twenty minutes to reach the city center.
The city is known for their Richard Wagner (famous German composer) festival
We were a few weeks early for the Christmas market but the preparation was underway

Shops, cafes, and landmark buildings
We had lunch at a local restaurant that served delicious potato salad and fish, later in the day we stopped in a bakery for cheesecake and hot chocolate.  But for my Lilyfield what made her the happiest was finding a LOL at Müller.

Thanks for coming along on this end of fall walk and welcome back Jo!!
