Tropical Storm Florence expected to become a major hurricane early next week
Friends have told me this is the price you pay to live in what I describe as a piece of paradise. So, here we go again, Florence spinning in the Atlantic and 2 storms behind her. During Hurricane Matthew in October 2016, we evacuated our home by mandatory order. I went to my daughters home fifty miles inland and that was not far enough for me. Here is my facebook post during the worst of the storm.
Just too much! That post was at 3am. The sound of the wind and cracking of huge trees was so scary. If Florence decides to head this way, Atlanta here I come.
