After the Niagara River falls its journey is not over. The river continues to flow downstream for another seven miles toward Queenston Ontario and empties into Lake Ontario.
The force of the rushing waters through the narrow gorge flow at a speed of twenty-two miles per hour. The rapids approach an elbow in the Great Gorge creating a whirlpool.

Since 1916 Niagara Parks have been offering people a “birds-eye” view of this natural phenomenon from 200 feet above riding on an “Aero Car”
From the center of the ride which travels from two Canadian points, it offers a fantastic view of the swirling waters and class six whitewater rapids.
The Whirlpool Aero Car is located on the Scenic Niagara Parkway, in Ontario Canada.
