Thirty five miles northwest of downtown Atlanta is the city of Covington. The downtown area graces itself with Victorian architecture and many 19th and early 20th century structures exist. The clock tower is part of the Newton County courthouse and is highly recognized from the popular television show “The Vampire Diaries”. On the show the town is named Mystic Falls.
